New machines and 25 years of Pegasus – meet Trimax at SALTEX 2026

Trimax will be showcasing three key machines at SALTEX 2026, with the new FlailDek S4, Pegasus S5 and Striker on display.

Making its SALTEX debut, the FlailDek S4 will take centre stage alongside the latest generation of the Pegasus, as Trimax celebrates 25 years of Pegasus in the UK.

The Striker will also feature, offering a practical mowing solution for grassroots sports clubs and smaller grounds teams that make up a key part of the SALTEX audience.

New FlailDek S4

Building on more than 30 years of FlailDek development and the proven performance of the FlailDek FX, the new FlailDek S4 has been designed with reduced maintenance, greater durability and increased versatility in mind.

The S4 introduces a number of practical enhancements to make everyday commercial mowing easier and more efficient, including stronger structural components, improved serviceability and flexible configuration for a wide range of applications and ground conditions.

Visitors to the Trimax stand can see the new machine up close and speak to the team about how the FlailDek S4 can help grounds teams tackle everything from fine turf to longer grass, roughs, surrounds and other challenging areas with confidence.

25 years of Pegasus

2026 marks 25 years since the Pegasus first arrived in the UK, establishing itself as a trusted choice for professional grounds teams looking for wide-area mowing, reliable performance and long-term value.

To mark the anniversary, Trimax will be showcasing the latest Pegasus S5 – the first complete ground-up redesign of the mower’s structural elements in more than 20 years.

Developed using extensive real-world user data, the S5 features stronger structural components across the mower, alongside practical improvements designed to increase reliability, simplify maintenance and extend service life.

A mower for grassroots sport

The Striker is particularly well suited to the grassroots sports audience at SALTEX. Designed for compact tractors, it offers an accessible entry point into professional-quality rotary mowing for sports clubs, schools and smaller grounds teams, including those supported by volunteers.
