EGO introduces largest professional self-propelled mower yet

Battery-powered outdoor power equipment specialist, EGO, has launched its largest self-propelled mower to date.

Part of EGO’s PRO X Series, the lightweight LMX7600SP features a dual blade cutting system to provide a huge 76cm cutting deck and is designed to deliver exceptional performance, durability and efficiency for commercial users and grounds maintenance teams.

Powered by EGO’s proven 56V ARC Lithiumbattery platform and Peak Power technology, the mower is able to draw power from two batteries simultaneously to provide extended runtime and consistent performance, with commercial users able to cover up to 4000 square metres on a single charge.

Joerg Bauerle, Product Manager for EGO, said: “For many professional grounds people, local authorities and facilities teams, balancing performance with environmental responsibility is an ongoing challenge. The LMX7600SP changes that. Co-developed with heavy commercial grounds maintenance teams, it pushes the boundaries of what professional users once thought possible from battery-powered equipment and joins our growing PRO X range of tools helping the trade work faster, smarter and more sustainably.”

Offering a lower noise and zero-emission alternative to large petrol-powered machines, the mower gives commercial users the flexibility to tackle a variety of different mowing jobs while meeting changing customer preferences. Thanks to its 39cm dual blades and versatile 3-in-1 cutting functionality, the new machine generates powerful airflow to offer efficient side discharge, finely mulched clippings or clean collection in the generous 88-litre grass-catching bag.

The self-propelled drive speed and blade speed can also be adjusted with ease via intuitive controls housed within the mower’s fold-flat handles. Users can switch between 3000rpm and 3800rpm and when paired with a cutting height range between 20mm and 125mm, operators can prioritise clean and more precise cuts or extended runtimes, depending on the task at hand.

Despite its size and cutting performance, the LMX7600SP’s super composite deck keeps the mower’s overall weight to just 47kg, while its metal chassis and steel bumpers aid robustness, as well as manoeuvrability and easy transportation between jobs.

Designed with professionals in mind, the mower also includes a range of other practical features. LED headlights, which have become a signature of EGO’s mowers, enable users to work safely in low-light conditions, extending the working day. Meanwhile, built-in IoT connectivity allows users to pair the mower with the EGO Connect and EGO fleet apps, helping to manage tool charging, monitor equipment usage over time, complete over-the-air firmware upgrades, and keep track of tool maintenance periods.
